Been doing some application icons for different projects of late. It has been mostly about making sure that things stay sharp and following the style guidelines. It’s great to see more and more of the fuzziness go away from the desktop, even though we have a lot of work to do left. So if you note a blurry icon in your menu, don’t hesitate to report it, it’s a bug!

On a somewhat related note, where can I get hold of the person in charge of Adobe Reader on Linux? I want that icon fixed as well.
Fuzzy icons in my menu:
gThumb
File Roller
Terminal Server Client (tsclient)
Liferea News Reader
CD Player
Glade
…and here also:
Firefox
F-Spot
Comix
Nvu
Monodevelop
Meld
Gconf Editor
If you’d like to perfect the Glom icon, that’d make me happy. There’s an .svg in the cvs module.
Those look sharp! Keep up the great work.
Regards,
Happy Linux desktop user
Great work. You know what’s fuzzy ? emblems in the Nautilus left pane. (+ they are “old” gnome2 style imho
and here ..
baobab
same gnome
tali

The download icon in the systray when epiphany downloads stuff.
My wish:

These icons are really outdated…
baobab (disk usage analyzer) in ubuntu edgy. ick.
My least favourite icon is the tomboy icon. The note part looks great, however the scribble (I assume this is supposed to be writing on the note) is too blury.
I keep having to check if there is dirt on my screen
Gnucash and the epiphany downloader icon
A lot of the gnome-applets, the trash for example.
Fruktansvärt snygga!
danke kön!
Lets hope people don’t go crazy with the blur in the next release of Inkscape
Thunderbird sans official imagemark
Seahorse
Gvim
Xsane
Baobab
On my system, the GNOME Sensors Applet looks blurry.
.desktop files with an URL. If you DnD the url from epiphany location bar to desktop a .desktop file with the url is created with a fuzzy globe icon.
gnucash
labyrinth mind-mapping tool
baobab
and thanks
[...] Andreas started that, Jimmac joined and declared war on fuzzyness too, and it looks like there will be a huge amount of work to do with all those fuzzy icons so, I am the another knight in this quest! For a start, I have already done two icons that I wanted to give some Tango love to, Labyrinth (mind mapping tool, and Gajim (Jabber client). Both are sent to developers now, but feel free to comment them. [...]
Hi, here is the heap of icons I’ve found fuzzy here
gnome-blog
mail-notification
gftp
gnomeradio (iirc there were some attempts to make it look better some time ago so I guess I have only an old version in my dapper)
gtranslator
tvtime
Already solved (check my last blogpost to see and comment them if you want
):
gajim
labyrinth
[...] Random pixels some stuff by Andreas Nilsson « Fuzzy go away! [...]
[...] Yesterday, it was a wonderfull Tango friday! Lots of people came to #tango and danced around icons with us. I would like to shout glory to all knights who participated on this quest and created new icons for applications reported bellow Andreas’ blogpost. We all together fought like lions and enjoyed the whole day. [...]
How about Quod Libet, Brasero, Evince, Glade, Poedit and perhaps Gnome Games?
Great work, keep up the good job.
Hej.
Would you happen to publish those fine icons? I mean those including the bass key, Adobe reader and cowbell. I’d most definitely appreciate that.
Regards, Paul.
